Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Thursday welcomed the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Muhammad Isa Umar, during a Sallah homage visit at the Kano Government House.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday.
The visit, a symbol of tradition and unity, provided an opportunity for the governor and the emir to deliberate on key issues affecting the development and welfare of the Rano Emirate.
Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the progress of the emirate, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure, water supply, healthcare, education, and agriculture in the region.
He also acknowledged the vital role played by the people of Rano in his administration’s success, assuring them that they will remain a priority in government programs and policies.
In his remarks, the Emir of Rano expressed gratitude for the governor’s hospitality and pledged his continued support for peace, progress, and stability in Kano State.
